Payments

Enter and correct a payment made elsewhere

Record a payment made elsewhere, see what remains owed, and correct the details if needed.

Pay elsewhere. Keep the record here.
  1. Confirm what is owed

Review the supporting records in Friday Falcon. Ready to pay means the amount is confirmed.

  2. Pay through your usual method

Use your bank or payment service outside Friday Falcon.

  3. Enter the payment

Record what was actually paid. Friday Falcon updates the amount still owed.

Confirming an amount or entering a payment does not move money.

Enter a payment

Use Enter payment after the Company pays a Contractor by bank transfer, wire, Payoneer, Wise, check, cash, an accounting platform, or another method. Friday Falcon records the evidence and updates what remains owed; it does not send or process the money.

  1. In the correct Company, open Money, then Payments, and choose the Contractor amount.
  2. Find Enter payment.
  3. Add the amount, payment date, and method.
  4. Add an optional reference, note, or attachment.
  5. Choose Review payment and check the payment details and amount still owed before saving.

Full and partial payments

When the amount covers everything still owed, the final action is Mark as paid. When money will remain, the final action is Save partial payment. Friday Falcon then shows Partially paid and the amount still owed.

For a worked example, see Enter a full or partial payment in the related articles below.

Correct a payment

Use Correct payment if the amount, date, method, or other recorded detail is wrong.

  1. Open payment history.
  2. Choose Correct payment.
  3. Enter the corrected details and a reason.
  4. Review the change, then choose Save correction.

The original record remains in payment history and the correction is linked to it. Correcting the record does not move money.

Reverse a payment record

Use Reverse payment when the recorded payment should no longer count toward the amount paid. Friday Falcon preserves both the original evidence and the reversal. Reversing the record does not refund or move money.
