Onboarding

Create and assign an onboarding checklist

Build a versioned checklist, assign it to a Contractor, and follow the recorded item status.

Create the checklist

Open People, then Contractor setup checklists. Add the items, mark each as required or optional, and choose whether Company review is needed.

Finalize the template version

Review the checklist before making its version available for assignment. Later changes should create new versioned evidence rather than silently rewriting an assigned checklist.

Assign it

Choose the Contractor and apply the checklist. The person can review the items available to them, while authorized Company users can follow the status.

What completion does not prove

An onboarding status is an operational record. It is not legal, tax, identity, classification, or work-eligibility clearance.
