Use a different rate for a Work category
Where configured, a category-specific rate can value approved time differently from the Contractor’s general rate.
When a category rate applies
A versioned rate term can be connected to a Work category. Approved time saved with that category can then use the applicable rate for its date.
Check the setup
Review the Contractor, currency, effective dates, category, and current rate term. A Work category label alone does not create a rate.
Review the resulting amount
Review what you owe shows the supported approved records used for the date range. Confirm that the categorized time and rate evidence match before confirming amounts owed.
