Time

Fix a long or open timer

Stop a forgotten timer and find the right correction path when its saved end time is wrong.

If your timer is still running

In the correct Company, open Work, then My time. In My business, open My work, then My time.

Choose Stop timer now for an unusually long running timer, or Stop timer. This stops the current timer and saves the entry. It does not ask you to enter an earlier end time. If you finished work earlier, review the saved entry and follow the correction guidance below.

If the saved entry is wrong

If the saved entry offers Request a correction, enter the proposed times and a clear reason. An authorized reviewer can decide the request. If that action is unavailable, ask an authorized Company reviewer for help with a Company entry.

Resolve an open timer as an authorized Company reviewer

Open Work, then Team time, and open the affected entry. If your permissions allow the Stuck timer controls, enter the accurate End time and a Reason. Choose Review resolution, check the confirmation, then choose Resolve open timer. The original start, reason, and correction stay in history.

Why the warning appears

An unusually long entry may need human review. The warning does not decide whether the time is valid; it identifies a record that deserves attention.
