Pause, end, archive, or reactivate a Contractor relationship

Pause a relationship when it is temporarily inactive. Schedule an end when the future date is known. End now when the relationship has ended. Archive an ended record to remove it from ordinary current lists. Reactivate when the same relationship resumes.

1. Open People and choose the Contractor.
2. Open the relationship controls available to you.
3. Choose the action and effective date where requested.
4. Add a clear operational reason.
5. Review the consequence and confirm.

Friday Falcon preserves the earlier relationship evidence. Do not create a replacement Contractor merely to hide an end or restart; use the lifecycle action that keeps the history understandable.

Check whether the person should retain any Company access. Ending a commercial relationship and removing application access are related decisions, but they are not the same record.
