What a Company closure changes
A closure changes Company calendar expectations for its date range; it does not by itself change worked time or money.
Calendar expectations
The closure marks its date range on the Company calendar and shows that Company work is not expected then.
Worked time
The closure does not create Time Entries. If a Contractor actually worked, record the work through the normal time process with accurate evidence.
Compensation and payment
The closure does not create compensation, an amount owed, or a payment. Friday Falcon’s closure-related Additional compensation workflow is not live and is not part of this Help article.
Contractor Time away
A Contractor does not need to create Time away merely to duplicate a Company closure. Time away remains a separate record of that Contractor’s own availability.
