Add a Contractor to a team

Assign a Contractor to a team so the right Team Lead can see the permitted operational work.

What team assignment does

A team groups Contractors for operational access. When a person is a Team Lead, the team assignment helps determine who that person leads.

Team membership alone does not give the Team Lead confidential financial visibility.

Add or remove the Contractor

  1. Open the Contractor in People or open the team in Settings.
  2. Choose the team assignment action.
  3. Add the Contractor as a team member, or remove the existing assignment.
  4. Save the change.

Review Team Lead Permissions

After changing the team, review what its Team Lead can see and do for this Contractor. Operational presence can be included without compensation, invoice, or payment access.
